New website or death of my social media?

A new start. Throughout the years I’ve fumbled my way through a variety of services to manage my website and periods of times where I have been without a formal website. Lately I have been considering ditching my Facebook and Instagram feeds for a more personal website and blog to connect with my followers.

In the age of social media, I have found myself spending more time comparing and viewing other creator’s content than going out and creating work for myself. I intend to post to my blog more often and will continue posting on my social media sites however the blog will likely contain my most recent adventures and images. In this current age with endless opportunities for satisfying our desire for media, I would like to move away from algorithms which may or may not put my content in front of my fans and provide a spot for fans to periodically check in and see what I’ve been up to by their own desire to follow my work.
